The Advent of LightLock® Technology
At Treasure Coast Window Fashions, many of our customers tell us that they’re constantly in search of a good night’s sleep. Which frequently means trying to achieve the darkest room possible. However, inevitably, most window treatments have side gaps that allow light through—without those gaps, the treatment would rub against the window frame and become damaged. Luckily, Hunter Douglas, the leader in the window fashions industry, has solved that problem on its Duette® Cellular Shades line: LightLock technology.
Meet LightLock
The LightLock system offers total blackout. A set of U-shaped side channels that overlap the front and back of Duette Honeycomb shades, LightLock blends seamlessly into the window frame, absorbing or deflecting incoming light. Because LightLock can achieve total room-darkening, it’s an excellent choice for bedrooms, nurseries, and media rooms.
Duette Cellular Shades
Cellular shades are made with a honeycomb design that traps air at the window; cellular shades provide insulation and are exceptionally energy-efficient while also offering light and privacy control. You can choose from a number of textures and colors, so you’ll be sure to match or complement your décor style. Plus, you can opt for top-down/bottom-up operation, which lets you open the shade from the bottom, from the top, or both simultaneously.
